PrayWaves is the name of my blog and my Twitter account. It’s purpose is to share Christian content that will inspire and encourage readers right where they are in their spiritual walk. As the name implies, it will focus a lot on prayer–the Who, What, When, How and Why of Prayer. Hopefully, it will help readers to understand what prayer is all about and help them establish a consistent prayer life full of purpose, power and passion. My hope is for this site to be interactive–allowing readers to respond with questions, feedback and successes they have had in prayer.
I’ve also written a book on the topic of prayer-–Lord’s It’s Boring in My Prayer Closet (How to Revitalize Your Prayer Life) now available on Amazon.com and Kindle.

I agree about the megachurches. In fact, I wrote several about how people
with problems are cared for. You and I know that with hurting people in the
regular service: When asked: “How are you?” “i am fine.” They do not
know who to trust. They do not want to say anything negative when one
needs to experience ‘PRAISE AND WORSHIP!. My experience in many
small groups where people get to know about one another and can share
mutual Problems.
About the young in worship: I DO NOT LIKE LOUD MUSIC WHERE I
CANNOT UNDERSTAND THE LYRICS!
About teens:I have written youth pastors with messages: One like
a baseball team and now football. The bottom line is to recognize
them who have a testimony, get cheered by the church family
according to Hebrews 12 v 1.A BATTER WHO MAKES A GOOD
PLAY IS HIS TESTIMONY. THE CROWD CHEERS. SO, SHOULD
CHURCH MEMBERS , AS I SAY.
With football, I cover trials like Christian youths have like: sacking of
the quarterback and he gets a pass intercepted. These are trials
for him. JESUS SAID HE HAD THEM AND SO SHALL YOU!

Why did you use BORING? WILL NOT THOSE WHO CONSIDER
PRAYER TO BE “BORING” QUIT PRAYING ALL TOGETHER!?

I wrote the book to help those who feel prayer is boring. The subheading and a quick read of the back cover will dispel those doubts.

Your article in CHARISMA entitled PRAYER PASSION is excellent for
INTERCESSION. When I saw your title reminds me for A PASSION FOR
INTIMATE WORSHIP like Mike Bickle of INTERNATIONAL HOUSE OF
PRAYER. I think his passion is taken from SONG OF SOLOMON using
Bridegroom: JESUS & ‘ loved one : A BRIDE OF CHRIST. I use the LORD’S PRAYER TO MY FATHER. Derek Prince’s using the tabernacle
which is a pattern of that one in HEAVEN, Heb. 9 vs 23-24. PRAISING
JESUS with every article in it ENDING INTO THE HOLY OF HOLIES
which is OPEN TO US SINCE THE CURTAIN WAS TORN DOWN FROM
TOP TO BOTTOM..
PERSONALLY, I HAVE PRAYED DIRECTLY TO JESUS AS A CO-HEIR
WITH HIM Rom 8 v 17, & Eph 1 vs 20. HE IS SEATED AT THE RIGHT
HAND OF THE FATHER. & WE ARE SEATED WITH HIM 2 V 6. I PRAY
THANKING THE HOLY SPIRIT WHO INTRODUCED ME TO MY
HOLY BROTHER AND HELPS ME WORSHIP HIM & THE FATHER…
SO, MIKE’S AND MINE IS A PASSION FOR INTIMACY WITH THE
TRIUNE GOD.!

Thank you for your encouraging word on my article in Chsrisma (I actually haven’t gotten my copy yet, so you’re seeing it before me!) The article is based on a chapter from my book on prayer, LORD, ITS BORING IN MY PRAYER CLOSEST (How to Revitalize Your a Prayer Life.) I wrote it to encourage others to go deeper in prayer. It’s a battle for intimacy with God!
