ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Sandra is a wife, mother, former teacher, journalist and children’s author. She seeks to help Christians develop a passionate prayer life and has written a book, Lord, It’s Boring in My Prayer Closet (How to Revitalize Your Prayer Life) which is available on Amazon.com and Kindle. Sandra speaks on the topic of prayer at churches and women’s groups and teaches an online class on prayer at BeADisciple.com.

As a freelance journalist, Sandra has published 700+ news stories, profiles, travel stories, lifestyle and feature stories for 20+ publications. She is currently focusing on writing children’s picture books and devotionals that help children realize they are uniquely created by God for a special purpose.

In her former teaching career, Sandra taught high school English, journalism and worked with elementary students who had learning disabilities. She holds a Master’s Degree in Special Education and a BA in English.

When not writing, Sandra can be found exploring new places with her husband, walking on the beach or enjoying fresh seafood. She also loves spending time with their daughter, son-in-law and their super-cute French bulldog.
