Recently, I saw a poster on Facebook that said: The saddest thing about betrayal is that it never comes from your enemies!
It’s so true, because when betrayal comes from those closest to us—friends, relatives, church members—its sting is deep.
So how do we handle it? Usually, we react with a defensive attitude and a desire to strike back, but Jesus tells us to forgive: And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins(Mark 11:25 NIV). Continue reading
